Why Broth for Dogs?
GUT HEALTH
A compromised gut is the beginning of symptoms and disease. Just like humans dogs too can experience leaky gut. When a diet is not diversified with essential nutrients we can see signs of aging, inflammation, allergies, irritations, mood changes, and in many cases symptoms like bad gas, bloating, rashes, and unpleasant smells. Many of these issues can be avoided by adding additional nutrition to your dog’s meals. Adding broth high in amino acids, glutamine, gelatin, collagen, and saturated fat to your dog’s meal, will work towards restoring and repairing the gut lining.
IMMUNE HEALTH
On a daily basis, our dogs are exposed to all sorts of toxins that need to be filtered from the body. Toxic treatments for flea and tick prevention, dewormers, drugs, antibiotics, pesticides from lawns and gardens, household chemicals, vaccinations, and food additives are all contributing stressors to the liver, lungs, kidneys, and bowels of our beloved pups. Amino acids like glycine act as a binder to clear these toxins out supporting detoxification and reducing inflammation.
BONES & JOINTS
Collagen, gelatin, glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid are all important components of healthy bones and joints. Bone broth provides all of these nutrients in a raw absorbable form. Glucosamine is a popular supplement recommended for joint support and mobility, especially for dogs with arthritis. Joint elasticity, strength, and flexibility are all important factors for adding lubrication and cushioning to joints and increasing the longevity of our dogs.
COAT, SKIN & NAIL HEALTH
These components of bone broth; collagen, chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid are all needed for the construction of connective tissues and skin. Bone broth is rich in these nutrients and minerals to support healthy and shiny fur, strong teeth, healthy skin, and strong healthy nails.
WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
Our bone broth is made without common allergens such as chicken, gluten, or grains. Removing trigger foods or food irritants gives the intestines and the immune system enough time to heal. Our broth is also low in carbohydrates. This allows for more stabilized blood sugar levels, reducing the secretion of insulin, which encourages healthy weight management.

How to Serve
